| MZK’s Argentina team for World Cup 2006 Argentina lost 3-2 to England on 12-11-2005, which is the last thing on this world I didn't wanted to happen But the reality is that the current Argentina side is not good enough. The current coach knows nothing about the required formation for the upcoming World Cup in my opinion . Argentina will be knocked out in the 1st round again if the carried on playing the same way & system. His "formation" & "HITMAN" players are not good enough Because:- -The basic formation should be 4-3-1-2 instead of 3-5-2when you start a match -Sorin is almost playing as a 2nd striker though he is a left back& should be out of the 1st choice team in my opinion -Riquelme is playing off position -Aimar in my opinon has the potential to become the next Maradona, but he is out of the team -Carlos Tevez should be a regular choice but Saviola is there -Luis Gonzalez is almost an automatic choice& in my opinion he should be out of the team -Javier Zanetti is naturally a defender who can go forward but under the current coach he is a winger who can defend -Mascarino is playing ahead of Veron & Demichelis -Cambiasso (an average player) is playing ahead of a naturally talented Santi Solari -Heinze is a natural left back, but he plays as a centeral defender in the current coach's formation -Colocini is playing ahead of Samuel <><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><> BUT If Argentina played with this formation & with these players in World Cup 2006, No team & no one can stop the from lifting the world for the 3rd time , not even Brazil & Andriy Shevchenko. 
But it requires some bold decisions like keeping Sorin & Saviola out of the first 11. It simply doesn't make any sence when you have such great players like Aimar, Veron, Solari & Ortega out of the team & average players like Delgado, Killy Gonzalez, Luis Gonzalez, Colocini, Maxi Rodregez, Cambiasso & Mascarino etc in the 1st choice team & yet you call your self a favorite for lifting the World Cup in 2006 only because you are Argentina or because the greatest player of all tme used to play for you once. Also Riquelme is playing off position under the current coach where Pablo Aimar should play regularly. The natural position of Riquelme is deep in the midfield like Andrea Pirlo of AC Milan. Plus I would bring Ariel Ortega even from HELL to play in the team, if not in the 1st 11 certainly as a sub, because he is still one of the best right sided winger in the world. At the end of the day its the stars & big names who wins trophies . Keeping a couple of youngsters is not a bad thing but the real requirement for the winning the world cup is experience & thats some thing the youngsters lack. Its as simle as that
