JDT's main achievements |
His international goal scoring rate is as good as Maradona, Ronaldo, Batistuta, Rivaldo & Shevchenko |
1994 | JDT’s senior career began with the Dutch side SC Heerenveen in 1994-1995 season | JDT scored 37 league goals for SC Heerenveen in 78 league matches in thre season which attracted many bigger clubs to win the race of getting his signature |
1997 | JDT’s international debut came against Croatia in March 1997 | This was beginning of one of the greatest Danish players of all-time |
1997 | JDT was transfered to Newcastle United who paid 3.9 million pounds for him | Instead of partnering Alan Shearer, JDT was asked to play as a winger, which caused him problems. His stay at Newcastle was not a hit |
1998 | JDT was not picked for Danish squad in World Cup 1998 | The main reason of dropping him was his disappointing season at Newcastle |
1998 | JDT joined Dutch giants Feyenoord, after leaving Newcastle United | JDT spent 4 successful seasons in Holland where he never failed to make a double figure in goals for the Rotterdam side |
1999 | Feyenood won the Dutch Eredivisie of 1998-1999 season | JDT was their key to success |
2000 | JDT played for Denmark in Euro Cup 2000 | JDT failed to produce any magic |
2002 | JDT won the UEFA Cup with the Dutch side Feyenoord | JDT scored the winning goal in 3-2 thrilling final between Feyenoord & Borussia Dortmund |
2002 | JDT scored 4 goals in World Cup 2002 in Korea & Japan. He scored 80% of Danish goals in that world cup | 2 goals against Uruguay 1 penalty against Senegal 1 goal against France |

| Because of JDT's goal AC Milan reached the semi final & then go on to win the Champions League in 2003. But it would have not been possible without JDT's last minute goal against Ajax
|
2003 | AC Milan reached the final of World Club competition. At the full whistle the score was 1-1 | JDT scored the only AC Milan goal in the final but AC Milan lost that final on penalties to Argentine club Boca Juniors |
2003 | JDT scored an 85th minute winning goal against England in a friendly match. Denmark won 3-2 | It was JDT's revenge of 2002 world cup loss to England in the pre-quarterfinal match |
2004 | Played a major role in Denmark's qualification for Euro 2004 in Portugal | JDT scores about 80% of Danish goals since becoming their #1 striker |

2004 | AC Milan won the Italian league, the Scudetto (2003-2004) This was Milan’s 17th Scudetto | JDT was a key member of a three men attack of AC Milan comprising Sheva & Kaka also. This three men attack was unstoppable for the Serie-A defenders as they scored round about 50 goals. JDT played his part with 12 goals as a supporting striker to Sheva. His strike rate was 1 goal in every 3rd match, which was excellent for a supporting striker |
2005 | JDT came as a substitute in the final replacing the great Argentine Hernan Crespo of the Champions League, where AC Milan lost a 3-0 lead against Liverpool in the 2nd half. | In the most dramatic ends JDT missed a great chance of giving his side the Champions League trophy. A perfect cross by Sheva was missed by inches by JDT in front of the goal post. On any other day it would have been a classic JDT goal, But that day “LUCK” was against AC Milan, because Shevchenko also missed two clear-cut chances at the end & eventually missed a penalty. But you can’t blame either Sheva or JDT, because they both did their best. The ones to be blamed in the final are Gattuso & Dida |
2005 | Scored a 90th minute goal against PSV in the 1st leg of the semi final of the Champions League, which helped AC Milan to reach the final of the Champions League for the 2nd time in 3 years JDT scored 8 skillful goals in the 2nd half of the season 2004-2005, though mostly played as a substitute. A better strike rate than Kaka' who played regularly | JDT was a successful penalty kick taker in the final of the Champions League, which AC Milan lost on penalties. Where the great Shevchenko, Pirlo & Serginho missed |
2005 | JDT was transferred to German club VfB Stuttgart | JDT scored 22 league goals in 76 appearances for the San Siro giants, mostly played as a substitute. JDT’s last contribution for AC Milan was a successful penalty at the Champions League final, but unfortunately it was on a losing side |
2005 | JDT became the captain of Denmark | Another sparkling performance of JDT came against England in a friendly match, where Denmark hammered the English side 4-1. This was the most embracing defeat of the most over rated team for a long time. JDT assisted the 1st goal & scored the 2nd one |
